So basically im sick of monks getting into all these groups due to this new "HB" concept and not having a monk i am extremely envious and obviously try to find alternatives. (I don't know if this is just me or are 99% of monks complete arrogant jerks and are the first ones to leave the group, this is also partly an anti-monk thread.)

So over the past couple of months i have been trying to figure out a Ritualist Alternative to the monk's cookie cutter "HB" Build. And have shockingly successful results

I was not able to find one single build that would work every time for every location but all the builds i came up with were equal or better then the monks "HB". Here are a couple of locations where "HB's" are wanted and a rit alternative to the build.

URSAN POINT FARM

This build was one of my more successful alternatives. This build gives basic healing against small attacks (can give the entire party up to +8 health regeneration; rejuv +recup) and also with the help of weapon of warding can give substantial damage reduction against anyone in the group. It lacks in full party heals however, so LoD can be used for quick full party heal. Life is pretty effective but once every 20s is not exactly ideal.

Proof this build is effective; i did 5 runs in a row with a r7+ ursan group and by the ice imps everyone had had either 45dp or 60dp and then everyone would get discouraged and leave. After getting fed up i tried this build and with a regular ursan group ( no rank requirement) i completed the entire farm with only one death and that was when we pulled aerius's group and 3 groups aswell. Of course i was also accompanied by another monk (who was "HB")

This build is also a good alternative compared to the HB build used. It is somewhat limited however because of the fact that ritualists don't have seed of life weapon of warding makes up for that. Spirit light weapon is also a really good quick heal and mend body and soul is good to remove daze from tank or anything else which is annoying.
I admit this build is not as effective as an HB type build but it is still very versatile and very low energy management is required and in tight scenarios such as leaks it is better.

These are just a couple of build that i have been using to replace the arrogant HB. Tell me your opinion on them and critisize or w/e u do.

It's an alright concept, although I would remove the superiors and use a minor, finish the second fifteen attribute quest and go 14/13/3.

It won't come close to the healing power of Healer's Boon, but it could be a fun concept.

Ads make the site extra money by the person providing the ad paying to have it put up. I believe so anyway, I don't know a thing about that junk.

correct.

Same thing applies to television commercials. The show itself doesn't make the money, it's the ad moguls that pay money to put commercials on a popular tv show.

why would you want to make a build like HB? HB sucks, its just the latest terrible build to hit the PvE meta.

Well the TV show and Channel also have sponsorship rights to make money basically the same as advertisements but yeh....

Also, How many points per hour is your ursan farm?

about 5,000 to 10,000 if ur lucky norn points per run (each run is an hour)

why not take [soothing memories] then?
for two seconds extra recharge it heals more
and instead of heal party take [protective was kaolai] that goes well with [soothing memories]
it recharges longer yes but it's better
for last i'd just suggest [weapon of remedy] or [spirit light weapon] as elite
or even [offering of spirit] for a good emanagement

HB is overrated
it stands for fast healing but then i rather see a build with [patient spirit] and [glimmer of light] and you got a good solid heal, all it needs is some good e-management

looks pretty good. i prefer Protective Was Kaolai tho. its a good party wide heal, and it would let you use a differnet elite, which would be cool
